Ancho Chili Dry Rub

  • 1/4 cup ground ancho chili powder
  • 1 T salt
  • 1 t dark brown sugar
  • 1 t cayenne
  • 1 t dried oregano
  • 1 t ground black pepper
  • 1/2 t ground garlic
  • Four chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

Mix ingredients well and use to generously season chicken breasts (you will have extra dry-rub--store it in a tightly sealed container). Grill or roast chicken until the internal temperature reaches 165F. (This spice rub is also great on pork, turkey, beef and salmon.)
