New Graduate Registered Nurse Internships at Cascade Healthcare Community (CHC)

Please revisit our website in the Fall of 2008.  There are currently no RN Internships available.  We periodically have internships in the areas listed below.

The Clinical Internship Program is designed for graduate Registered Nurses with less than six months of acute care experience. The purpose of the program is to enhance clinical and leadership skills, and to facilitate integration into the hospital setting.

Participants in the program will have opportunities to gain clinical competence in basic nursing skills, become proficient at organization and prioritization, apply critical thinking process to clinical practice, and acquire workload management skills.

The eight to twelve week internship consists of 60-80 hours per pay period working various shifts with a Preceptor Trainer at all times. The intern will receive pay comparable to an entry level RN, be eligible for regular benefits, and will be covered by the ONA contract. If you are accepted into the internship, we do ask for a one year commitment to the unit for which you are hired, unless they have no positions available upon completion of your internship.
